1. Service and scope

DIVAN is a digital ebook and audiobook library at divan.studio, the associated divan-studio.com domain and in DIVAN apps. These terms govern use of the library and your account. Each work shows its available editions, languages and formats. Availability may change as editions, content rights or technical requirements change.

2. Free account and Premium

Registration is free. Signed-in users can read standard ebooks without Premium. Audiobooks and special editions require Premium unless free access is explicitly shown for that work. Public samples, including Jazavac pred sudom, may be used without registration as indicated. A free account does not automatically include all Premium content.

3. Account and sign-in

Use an email address you control and provide accurate details requested by the form. Sign in with a password or an available Google/Facebook option. We require email confirmation when needed to verify address ownership. Keep your credentials secure and report suspected unauthorised access. Accounts are for personal use. A parent or guardian should supervise accounts and use by minors in accordance with applicable rules.

4. Price, activation and renewal

Monthly Premium costs EUR 6.99. Before any purchase is confirmed, checkout shows the final price, billing currency, period, taxes and renewal rules. Payment is available only through an active checkout offered on the website; registration and these pages do not themselves create a charge. Access activates after confirmed payment or an administrator grant. Complimentary Premium lasts until the displayed expiry and does not automatically become a paid subscription.

5. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds

Check access status and expiry in My Divan. Request cancellation of future renewal through the available subscription option or by email, identifying your account address. Cancelling renewal does not end access before the paid period expires. Contact us about withdrawal, defective service or a refund; the statutory rights and deadlines applicable to your purchase apply. These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights. Any request to start a digital service during a withdrawal period must be accompanied by the required separate notices and express consents before purchase.

6. Content use and protection

You may read and listen to available content for personal, non-commercial use through the offered features. A subscription does not transfer ownership of recordings, illustrations or other protected material. Without appropriate rights, you may not resell, publish or bulk-copy protected content, share account access, bypass access checks or automatically download the library. Legally permitted uses and rights in public-domain source material remain unaffected; a particular narration, translation or illustration may have separate rights.

7. Content, translations and errors

The library may contain historical language, attitudes from the time of writing and subjects unsuitable for children. Read edition descriptions and warnings. Digitisation, translation and narration may contain errors; report them using Report a problem or email, with the title, language and text or audio position. Rights holders may contact Divan to investigate or remove disputed material. We do not guarantee that every title is always available in every language.

8. Authors and manuscripts

Manuscript submissions are governed by the separate terms shown in the author form and any individual agreement. Publication rights, production and use of narration, withdrawal of a work and any narration costs are governed by that agreement. Merely using the library does not transfer copyright in your works to Divan or create a narration payment obligation.

9. Privacy and account closure

The Privacy Policy explains data processing, associated service providers and your rights. Request account deletion using the public Account deletion instructions. Account deletion, cancellation of paid renewal and withdrawal of an author’s work are separate requests; tell us which actions you want so we can handle the necessary steps.

10. Availability, changes and complaints

The service may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance or technical incidents. Serious misuse or security risks may lead to restricted access; contact us to request a review. Material changes to these terms are published with a new date and communicated appropriately; new prices do not change an already paid period. Use the contact below for questions and complaints. Applicable mandatory law, statutory liability and your right to contact competent authorities remain unaffected.
